Examination Conditions

This translation is provided for convenience only. The German version is binding.

General information for all examinations

The written examination at the end of the semester consists partly of multiple-choice questions and partly of free-text questions. It is essentially a calculation exam based on the exercises.

Permitted aids:

1. A formula collection on two A4 sheets written on both sides (4 pages in total). If your subject is examined together with another subject in one module, the formula collection must not contain anything about the other subject. You are free to choose which content of my subjects you write on the formula sheet. There are no other restrictions on the content of the formula sheet.
2. A calculator without online functions. For your studies we recommend the Casio “FX991DEX Classwiz”.

BMT Electrical Engineering

Duration: 90 minutes

BMT Measurement, Open-Loop and Closed-Loop Control (Measurement Technology)

Duration: 90 minutes

UFC Electrical Engineering

Duration: 70 minutes

Combined examination with Physics 1: The formula sheet must not contain formulas that are needed only for Physics 1 and not for Electrical Engineering.

UFC Measurement Technology

Duration: 70 minutes

Combined examination with Physics 2: The formula sheet must not contain formulas that are needed only for Physics 2 and not for Measurement Technology.

ISD Electrical Engineering

Duration: 90 minutes

ETR Electrical Engineering

Duration: 90 minutes

Combined examination with Mathematics: The formula sheet must not contain formulas that are needed only for Mathematics and not for Electrical Engineering.

ETR Control Engineering

Duration: 90 minutes

ETR Power Electronics

Duration: 60 minutes

Combined examination with other specialisations: The formula sheet must not contain formulas that are needed only for examinations of other specialisations and not for Power Electronics.

ETR Applied Measurement and Control Engineering

Duration: 60 minutes
